When times are tough this summer, will you please remember this picture of our prince? He is such a character! This picture reminds me of the simplicity of a sprinkler!

We don't have a lot of little friends for brother so he goes along for the ride everyday. We are however very thankful for Abbey and Griffin. I joke with Griffin's mom that I could take Griffin home and no one would know he wasn't actually Logan's brother.

These girls are such great friends. This picture is one that I would imagine we will show at one of their weddings to show everyone how long they have been friends!

A chapter closing...Goodbye preschool

This picture was taken in September 2006. I was a mess that day and remember feeling that there was no way that I could be old enough to have a child going into preschool. Well that feeling has not changed 3 years later. Her last day of preschool was a bundle of emotions for us all. I kept thinking she is never going to sit in this same circle time again. Some of the kids in our class have been together for all 3 years. We had an incredible group of children that really knew each other and are so kind to each other, it is really remarkable.

A very wise person once told me that the friendships you make in preschool tend to be ones that last your lifetime. I intend on making that true for our group!!

Sister's last day of school. I am sad that the days have passed by so quickly, yet I am glad to experience the future with her!

Walking into her new school, registering her for kindergarten. Boy I am not ready for this one.

He is such a little cheese ball and loves the camera.

Don't count us out!

We are back from Aruba, well actually we have been back for a month. :( However our new computer just arrived in the mail on Tuesday. (Another blog but for now, please do not use PCE Computing in Maple Valley for your computer needs. They are really a rotten company and I am making it a point to tell everyone I know to stay away they are so dishonest.) Back to Aruba, Sean and I had a great time! This was the very first time we had ever slept away from the kids and for us it was great! We were gone for 7 days. The Westin in Aruba is amazing, the people are friendly, the weather was 90+ degrees each day. Ahhh, I can feel the warmth now. Each day, Sean's company had something for us to do and it was wonderful to hang out with old friends and make new friendships. We were able to dress up each day which was a highlight in itself. I forgot how wonderful it feels to wear something other than workout attire everyday.

Carrie and I. She was my partner in crime while our husbands partied it up.

We took an ATV tour along the coast and pretty much covered half of the island that day. They have neat shacks everywhere. I kept thanking the Lord for this opportunity to be 4 wheeling along the coast of ARUBA!

Our new friends Bonnie and Brian. No doubt that we will see them again soon, even if we have to fly over to Boston to see them. One of the best things about hanging out with them was listening to their Boston accent.

View from our hotel room. Steps to the ocean. Amazing.......

We escaped for the weekend and went to downtown to stay the night and shop. We were so excited for this outing but I have to tell you that my expectations of the Westin were far exceeded. They did such a fabulous job making us feel like the most important people staying at their place. We were upgraded from our internet rate room to the end of the hall suite overlooking the town. We could see the space needle from our room at night. It was just magical! We shopped, ate, played, swam and really got away for a little bit. Enjoy our pictures and Merry Christmas!

Wedding to remember

One of the most fun weddings we have been to!

These little girls were born to dance.

Our beauties!

Little man did so well, despite missing his naps. This child is so scheduled, it surprises me!

My handsome brother and his favorite niece. I just can't say enough wonderful things about him. I am so proud!

Looking out the front window......

This was taken July 2006. She was only 2 years old. I am so in love with these children.

I am sure he is waiting for dad,who is his favorite person EVER!

Atonement

I couldn't find a picture of the movie cover to cut and paste but if you need a rental, this is for you! It is so good! I would have never rented it had someone not told me about it. There are three small parts that I would consider embarrassing and wouldn't want to watch with my husband (those kind of parts) but overall, great movie! If you do watch, comment and let me know what you think.

The last month......

At the pumpkin patch. I am glad we went when we did. It was a gorgeous day.

She getting to the age where when I say "cheese", she really responds and poses for the camera. It is so satisfying.

She wants to live on a farm soooooo bad.

This picture was taken at the Seattle Aquarium. We have never been there and I sorry that we haven't. When we arrived there was a scuba diver in the main tank feeding some type of fish. It was totally amazing to see her (the scuba girl) in the tank and to see the kids reactions.

We had a private touch tank experience and little guy was fearless and aggressive. He wanted to know what those creatures felt like more so than the older kids.

A few weeks back at his one year birthday. We hadn't give him sweets until his birthday.

I just love this expression.

Sister's first day of her last year of preschool. She is doing so well and is such a smart cookie. Her class is mainly made up of kids from last year which has been a neat experience. Her teacher is such a blessing.

I have tons to blog about but for tonight I need prayers. Our super sister is really sick and I am on my own caring for her tonight. She has had croup since Sunday which has now progressed into a really aggressive cough that she wakes up in pain from. Please pray for her to be healed. Thank you!
