I am not sure how to title this except PLEASE HELP! For almost 4 years now, I have battled with my house. We are in constant disarray. It makes me angry, Sean angry and then we are grumpy at the kids. I would never want anyone to stop over to my house unannounced right now and that is not how I want to live my life! I want unexpected visitors! What fun it is to get a surprise visit from a dear friend at your door. Am I in this battle all alone? Do you (my fellow friends) have it all together? I think you do! What are your secrets? Please spill them because I am just this close....to losing it big time!

I love a man in a white t shirt.

This picture may top one of my all time favorites ever. Pure joy on her face and I love it.

In our house we are obsessed with Little House on the Prairie. She was dressed up like Laura.

I have the sweetest little one with great friends!

Modern Conveniences

Argh. Our refrigerator is busted and has been for a couple of weeks. It turns itself on and off. We have lost two lots of food and if you know me our fridge is usually pretty well stocked. After our first repair, Sean did a Costco run, yet it stopped working again Monday, so I will toss everything when the repair man comes for the third visit tomorrow. I can't tell you how difficult it has been to feed everyone and how many trips to the grocery store we have made. Poor me, I know. I really should be grateful that we have refrigerators. It is just early in the morning and I felt like posting for some sympathy. :) Thanks for reading....

Seizing the moment

These pictures were taken in late March. Sean is usually the one that would run the kids outside to seize the moment, but I am learning! If I remember correctly, we woke up to massive snow and we were able to build 4 snow people.

Wearing dad's hat and wrapped in our favorite blanket as we ran outside.

Easter

We had a great Easter. We celebrated on Saturday and what a perfect day for our easter egg hunt! In addition to the excitement of the hidden eggs, we had a oven fire while I was cooking Easter dinner. Thankfully Uncle Stu was here because Sean and I froze. Stu reached through the flames and saved the ham and potatoes! Then he threw baking soda on the flames and it went out. In the meanwhile, sis (who had just learned about 911 the Wednesday prior) was telling us we should call the fire department and they would come and spray water in our kitchen. We are so proud of her!

Speaking of pride, I love my brother!

And we love this guy too!

Little peanut falling asleep during the hunt.

We had 3 golden eggs this year and probably 30+ other eggs hidden. Sean and Stu did an awesome job hiding them all over the yard.
