Sorry this is sideways however can anyone use these nice trees on their land? They are douglas fir and have a tad bit of special meaning to us. They gave them out at Rachel's memorial. We don't have space to plant them near our home but I am hoping that you do! Happy Monday!

So proud of my deception

My first born child is not the greatest of an eater. If it isn't smothered in melted cheese or covered in sugar, she would prefer not to eat. So for Christmas I ask for Jessica Seinfeld's cookbook. I have made a ton from the cookbook and she doesn't trust my cooking anymore. :) Sean is a little leery too. Anyway tonight I thought of my own recipe. So I put shredded carrot inside her grilled cheese. She actually ate it!

Today is our step sister's celebration. She went home to Jesus on New Year's Eve. Please pray for her dad and family for peace. I didn't know her as much as I should have being that her dad was married to my mom. Yet what I did know was that she loved babies, taco time, cheerleading, talking on her cell phone. All things that a 16 year old girl love!



I remember my mom had this BIG box of markers. My mom keeps everything even those little pieces of broken crayons in hopes of someday she would have enough time to melt them into a candle. Anyway back to the markers, Rachel loved to color with all these markers. When my mom moved, I got some of these markers handed down to us and my little girl loves to color with them now also.
